The Singapore location of Opera Gallery will host Young Blood, a group exhibition of vibrant,
young artists from around the world, whose work is changing the landscape of Contemporary Art.
Ali Alişir, C215, Emir Haveric, Mac 1, The London Police, Noah Wunsch, and Flore Zoé will
be exhibited alongside each other, showcasing works that are a blend of artistic media. Ranging from
graffiti to abstraction, the art explores themes of humanity and the ever-changing society around us.
The works reflect the tumultuousness of city life, from Istanbul to Sarajevo, using the Street Art born
out of those environments as inspiration.

|
Though united in overall concept, these artists use their individual talent and their
intimate, personal experiences to translate their ideas into works of art, each with a
unique voice. Young Blood will be on view at the Opera Gallery Singapore from May 17 through
June 2, 2013.
Founded in 1994, the Opera Gallery has locations in Paris, Geneva, Monaco, London,
Venice, New York, Beijing, Seoul, Dubai, Miami, and Hong Kong. Their clients include
museums and collectors of Contemporary American, European, and Asian Art.

Sundaram Tagore Gallery
Hiroshi Senju: Day Falls/Night Falls, a solo exhibition of one of Japan’s most
celebrated artists, is on view at the Sundaram Tagore Gallery in Hong Kong. Often monumental
in scale, the works of Senju embody the amalgamation of Minimalism inspired by Abstract
Expressionists and painting techniques developed in Japan centuries ago. In his latest
series of works, the artist uses fluorescent pigments to create waterfall images.
In the daylight, these images appear black-and-white, but under UV light they change
to an electric blue. Senju was the first Asian artist to receive an Honorable Mention
at the Venice Biennale (1995) and his works can be found at institutions around the world,
including the Museum of Contemporary Art, in Los Angeles, CA, the Museum of Modern Art,
in Toyama, Japan, and the Yamatane Museum of Art in Tokyo. The Hiroshi Senju Museum opened
in October 2011 in Karuizawa, Japan. Hiroshi Senju: Day Falls/Night Falls is on view through
June 9, 2013.
