From Herman Leonard’s striking 1949 photograph of Ella Fitzgerald singing to Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman at New York City’s Downbeat Club, to Marilyn Minter’s slick and sexy nude portrait of Pamela Anderson, the works in ICONS capture some of the most famous figures of our time.
